Internship and Training Programs
International Cultural Exchange Organization Inc. (ICEO) is a designated sponsor by the U.S. Department of State for both Internship and Training Programs
ICEO USA Training Program
Purpose: the main purpose of the ICEO USA Training Program is to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of foreign countries by means of educational and cultural exchanges. In addition, this program is designed to achieve educational objectives of international exchange by involving trainees in a bona fide training at American Host Companies.
Program Length and Dates: the ICEO USA Training Program may last up to 18 months (Culinary Arts / Chef Training and other Hospitality-Tourism training programs may last up to 12 months). The length of the program depends on the specific training the participant will undertake and will be specified prior to arriving to the USA.
Qualification: a potential Trainee is a person who has either:
a) A degree or professional certificate from a foreign post-secondary academic institution and at least one year of prior related work experience in his/her occupational field acquired outside the United States,
or
b) Five years of work experience outside the United States in his/her occupational field, and who enters the United States to participate in a structured and guided work-based training program in his/her specific occupational field.
ICEO USA Internship Program
Purpose:the main purpose of the ICEO USA Internship Program is to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of foreign countries by means of educational and cultural exchanges. In addition, this program is designed to achieve educational objectives of international exchange by involving international interns in a structured and guided work – based learning program at American Host Companies.
Program Length and Dates:the ICEO USA Internship Program may last up to 12 months. The length of the program depends on the specific internship the participant will undertake and will be specified prior to arriving to the USA.
Qualification: a potential Intern is a person who either:
a) Is currently enrolled in and pursuing studies at a degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside the United States
or
b) Graduated from a degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside the United States no more than 12 months prior to his/her exchange visitor program begin date, and who enters the United States to participate in a structured and guided work-based internship program in his/her specific academic field.
