MGM Grand at Foxwoods - Retail Associate Wage: $9.00 per hour Job Description: Responsible for assisting guests with inquiries and the selection of merchandise, processing of transactions, stocking the retail outlet, protecting company assets and maintaining the appearance of the facility to standards. Must possess the ability to speak effectively by having a clear, pleasant speaking voice and good hearing to ensure effective communication. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English and have the ability to use basic math skills when processing merchandise payments and conducting stock inventories. Must possess a personable, customer service attitude with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment. Must be able to successfully complete a math test and writing sample. Minimum education of High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Note: All positions have an average of 35 hours of work per week. You must have the ability to work any shift during any portion of a 24-hour day or be flexible with the work schedule. Most positions may require you to be 21 years of age and may be in a smoke-filled environment with a moderate amount of noise.
